Had a note in the inbox this morn’ from Jersey’s punk rock Godfather Mr. Testa. Said, ‘If you don’t like the Front Bottoms we are no longer friends.’ That’s not a direct quote, but the threat to end the friendship was real.
Listened to three tracks before writing back. Sent an all-caps email that said simply:
“I LOVE GIRLS WITH EX-BOYFRIENDS THAT THEY AREN’T REALLY OVER.”
Been listening non-stop since 9 a.m. Love this record, all of it.
